Patty Liao spent her internship at the Department of Energy's Energy Information Administration, where she analyzed international renewable energy generation facilities.  Using compiled datasets and SAS, Patty built a model to predict wind capacity factors without actual wind data.  Additionally, she wrote short energy reports for the EIA.gov website and contributed to the International Energy Outlook.
