SRG Global

As part of the Tauber Institute's summer internship program, Alanya Schofield managed a four person multidisciplinary student team tasked with developing a strategy for SRG Global, an automotive trim manufacturer, to diversify into renewable energy products.

The team conducted an in-depth analysis of the renewable energy industry and undertook an internal company audit to identify products that are a good strategic fit given the companyí¢â‚¬â„¢s desired market characteristics and engineering and manufacturing capabilities. The team recommended a set of core products anticipated to result in $292 million of new annual revenue within five years, developed detailed implementation recommendations, and initiated two pilot programs. The team's recommendations received full support from the CEO and senior management, who are currently implementing them.
