Ashley Burtner interned with The Cooperative Institute for Limnology and Ecosystems Research (CILER). This internship was one of many offered through CILER's Summer Fellowship program.
Ashley organized and completed field work to collect data necessary to calibrate a nutrient input model for Saginaw Bay. She analyzed samples for a variety of water quality parameters. Additionally, Ashley assisted with several other projects being completed by scientists at GLERL and other institutions which provided great networking opportunities.
