The Nature Conservancy
During this internship, Kathryn Bomey worked with the invasive species department at The Nature Conservancy's Vermont chapter. She assisted with outreach and land management projects. Her internship duties included identifying and mapping locations of invasive plants in natural areas; summarizing data into readable charts; developing, editing, and formatting content for an educational website; teaching workshops; creating outreach materials and writing newsletter articles; and assisting with other types of field work.
