The Parks and People Foundation

In this internship, Amy Graul undertook the role of the Program Coordinator of the BRANCHES Summer Program.

The BRANCHES Program employs inner-city youth of high school age.  The purpose of the program was to beautify city parks, conduct invasive species removal, plant trees and provide educational field trips and work environments for the kids.  This internship exposed Amy to a urban work environment and allowed her to learn more about the urban population, specifically, the urban youth.  Amy also gained important project and time management skills.
