SNRE Career Services staff provides professional services through counseling and advising NRE graduate students on a variety of career development and internship/job search issues. Our goal is to provide you with the tools and resources needed to market your education and abilities.

eRecruiter allows students to:
- Create a search agent. Job or internship postings that meet your criteria will be emailed to you.
- Create a networking profile and view profiles of other students, alumni, and environmental professionals for professional networking and career mentoring.
- Post your resume online. Employers can search for students and create resume books.
- Apply directly to jobs and internships online.
- View SNRE's career events calendar and RSVP for events.
- Track jobs and internships that you've applied for online or that you have stored to your favorites list.
- Store drafts of resumes, cover letters, references, portfolios, etc.
- Access to paid job subscriptions (Green Careers Journal and Environmental Career Opportunities). These environmental job subscriptions are available to SNRE students and alumni only. Please go to eRecruiter to obtain the passwords to these environmental job subscriptions.

**Each year the Partnership for Public Service holds a Public Service Career and Internship Fair in Washington DC. The event usually occurs in July. This event comes recommended by SNRE Alumni! Please visit their website for the most up-to-date information on this year's fair.**

Career Advising
SNRE's Coordinator of Student Career Services can meet with students individually to explore general career direction, provide customized job search assistance, review cover letters, résumés and conduct mock interviews. Please contact Lisa Yee-Litzenberg to set up an appointment.
Internship Advising
SNRE's Internship Coordinator can help students find internships and funding for internships, review resumes and cover letters for internship applications and conduct mock interviews to prepare you for internship interviews. Please contact Kim LeClair to set up an appointment.

SNRE has a career exploration tool that lists job titles, responsibilities, qualifications, and much more information related to certain position descriptions. Browse this database for jobs in which you may have interest, and find out what responsibilities you can expect to have on the job and what qualifications you will need to get your foot in the door! Please note that this database uses job descriptions from positions originally posted from 2005-2007. Students can find other and possibly more up-to-date job descriptions by doing searches on the internet or using eRecruiter.
