Careers Team: Career Week is well underway and funding is nearly secured.
Still Needed:
SNRE’s very own Vienna Teng (Cynthia Shih) will be performing live at The Ark of Ann Arbor this weekend!
The San Jose Mercury News called Vienna Teng, "a child of Chopin and Sarah McLachlan,” and LA Weekly noted Vienna Teng’s contemporary music as, “Reflective piano-driven chamber folk; packs quite the punch.” The performance is on Saturday, September 29th. Doors open at 7:30 pm, and the show begins at 8 pm. Tickets are between $15 and $25, and can be bought online or in person.
Editor's Note: This blog post was written by Jenny Cooper (MS Environment & Natural Resources, Sustainable Systems, 2014). Cooper completed Climate Ride last week, and was invited to share this experience with the SNRE community.
SNREds!
You are not alone in your environmental crusades -- come connect with other environmentally-minded graduate students at Ecotastic Happy Hour. Ecotastic Happy Hour is making its return on Wednesday, September 26th from 8-10pm upstairs at Sava's restauarant on State Street. This is the perfect opportunity to spread your wings outside of the Dana building, and meet cool folks from other graduate programs including: Environmental Law, Public Policy and Urban Planning.
There will be drink specials, and most importantly, plenty of good times to be had!
