1. Funds must be spent only on allowable costs.

2. The grantee will submit brief annual progress reports during the performance period.

3. Upon completion, and no later than three years following awarding of the grant, the grantee will submit a final report.

4. Mazama support will be acknowledged in all publications resulting from the grant, but club endorsement of results and conclusions will not be implied.

5. Equipment exceeding $100.00 becomes the property of the sponsoring institution, usually a university.

Fellows receive a monthly stipend of $1,600 in addition to reimbursement for reasonable domestic round trip travel expenses to Montana.

At the end of each year, the author of the best paper produced by that year's group of fellows is awarded a $250 honorarium. In addition, $250 is awarded to the person who referred the fellow to PERC.

AWI policy is that no award funds should be used for indirect costs.

The Boone and Crockett Club does not permit their funds to be allocated for overhead or administrative costs.

Required to attend the annual ASPRS conference and agree to serve a minimum of 15 hours as a Student Assistant at the conference.

• Awards do not cover conference attendance, tuition fees or scholarships.
• Awards do not cover salaries for team members; however, CLP allows stipends that could be extended through the full length of the project, as well as reasonable allowance for food and accommodation.

Funding for continuation of a fellowship is limited.

Grants may not be used for:

- indirect costs, overhead, and other expenses not directly related to the project

- fringe benefits and salaries

- travel to scientific/professional meetings or conferences, legal actions, land acquisition, endowments, construction of permanent field stations, or publication of research results

- While the Conservation Trust acknowledges the need to preserve archaeological sites and artifacts, our current budget limits prevent us from funding such requests

The Fellowship will not subsidize academic tuition and fees, nor will it cover costs of purchasing transport vehicles, or unnecessary or unreasonable equipment.

*The fellowship will be reduced by the amount of any other financial assistance (other than tuition support) above $18,000.
*You must disclose all financial assistance to RFF.

Fellowship must be greater than any other fellowship or grant received during that year, checks are payable only to recipient (not university).

Does not fund: Indirect costs, Research assistants, equipment, and similar costs, Publication costs, Travel to attend professional meetings, conferences, or seminars, Repayment of loans or other personal obligations, fellowships are not retroactive), Grants-in-aid for less than a full academic year or, travel grants, Travel to or from the fellow’s home country

Travel expenses may not include airfare. Awardees are expected to be in residence for some part of their research at the Station so they can interact with other researchers and students.

Does not support lab work.
