Environmental Justice
CAFE is hosting a Sustainable Food Careers Symposium Friday, Feb. 15, Room 1040 of the Dana Building. The symposium brings graduate and undergraduate students together with professionals in food careers related to sustainability and the environment. Organizers' goal is to expose students to the wide range of career opportunities in this field. The event will feature panel discussions focused on:

Prior to SNRE: The two years before coming to SNRE I worked with the Creation Care Study Program, a college study-abroad program, as the Ethical Food Coordinator. Prior to that I served with AmeriCorps Cape Cod and worked with the Animal Rescue League of Boston.

Prior to SNRE: I earned a one-year master’s degree from the University of Edinburgh, writing my thesis on a GIS-Environmental Justice analysis of air quality in the city of Valencia, Spain. Then I received a Fulbright Scholarship to come to University of Michigan to study Environmental Justice.

Prior to SNRE: I worked for the Water Program at the Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC) for two years.
