As part of a 2010-11 Student Government initiative, SNRE students undertook a project with the goal of strengthening the bonds of community while creating a long-term education and management plan for the garden space. The space in question is often called the East Garden (the non-Diag side of the Dana Building) and faces what once was East University Avenue. The end result of that project is now visible, as students from an SNRE Landscape Architecture class begin the process of remaking the site.
