Lippman
Steve
Lippman is a Senior Program Manager in Business
for Social Responsibility's Environment Program. BSR is a business
membership organization that works with companies to promote environmentally
and socially responsible business practices. At BSR, Steve leads the program's
initiatives related to Supply Chain Environmental Management and its Initiative
on Sourcing Environmentally Responsible Forest Products. Through these
efforts, he has worked with more than 50 large companies across a diverse
range of industry sectors to explore best practices for reducing environmental
impacts across their supply chains and addressing their forest product
sourcing. Steve has also worked for Jellinek, Schwart & Connolly, a D.C.-based
environmental consulting firm, and has also done work for Environmental
Defense Fund, NRDC, the Oregon Water Trust, and the Ford Foundation's
Community-Based Forestry Program. Steve contributed an article on supply
chain environmental management for the Journal of Corporate Environmental
Strategy and has given presentations on the subject at numerous workshops
and conferences. He received his B.A. from Stanford and an M.S. from University
of Michigan's School of Natural Resources and the Environment.
