Professor and Director, Cooperative Institute for Limnology and Ecosystems Research
The University of Michigan is seeking a tenured faculty member to be appointed within the School of Natural Resources and the Environment (SNRE) and to provide intellectual and scholarly leadership as Director of the Cooperative Institute for Limnology and Ecosystems Research (CILER). The appointment is 50% as CILER Director and 50% as SNRE faculty, where the incumbent would be responsible for teaching one course, advising graduate students, and providing service to the School and University.
NRE Statistics Intermittent Lecturer
The School of Natural Resources and Environment at the University of Michigan invites individuals to apply for the position of Intermittent Lecturer. The successful applicant will be expected to teach one course in Statistics for our graduate students during the winter 2008 term. The course is an introductory statistics class, focusing on basic hypothesis testing. Statistical applications will concentrate on the ecological and environmental sciences, emphasizing the connection between scientific and statistical hypotheses.
