Abstract of working Project

The rural India lives in remote villages and has a rich depository of indigenous knowledge of plant biodiversity and its sustainable use. While much research has been done on theoretical aspects of the community knowledge systems, efforts to devise methods and approaches for quantifying community knowledge are still lacking. My project will help me to learn the latest methods and approaches devised and used by IFRI, SNRE for quantifying community knowledge systems and devising framework.
