Other Funding Opportunities
The CIC FreeApp program
The FreeApp program from the Committee on Institutional Cooperation is designed to expand participation of underrepresented minority groups in graduate education. Through this program, applicants can request a fee waiver for graduate applications to Ph.D. or Master of Fine Arts programs at CIC institutions.

Many organizations contact the school to advertise internship, fellowship and job opportunities. These opportunities are listed in a searchable database, and are accessible by any current graduate student (UM Uniqname and Kerberos password required).

Funds for Attending Professional Conferences
The SNRE 2007 Class Gift, in conjunction with a donation from alumni Peter Mertz, provides funds for professional development at SNRE. Student Government and OAP have allocated a portion of this gift to help fund students attending professional conferences during the 2007-2008 school-year. The Post-Conference Evaluation is stored in a searchable database and provides feedback information on the value of the conferences from attendees.
Visit the Conference Reimbursement site for details and instructions.
