SNRE wins three awards from Ann Arbor Ad Club
Feb. 17, 2012
The School of Natural Resources and Environment received three Addy Awards last week for excellence in creative services during the 2012 Addy Awards ceremony organized by the Ann Arbor Ad Club. SNRE received a Gold Addy—the top award—in the Interactive Media: Online Mobile Websites category for a prospective student website. SNRE's Office of Communications created the site for the school's Office of Academic Programs, which launched it during the fall recruiting season.
The school received a Silver Addy in the Sales Promotion: Printed Newsletter category for the fall 2011 issue of Stewards, the alumni and friends magazine of the school. Recognized for their contributions on that issue were designers David Brenner and Amanda Jane Jones, an Ann Arbor-area freelance designer; and Laura Williams, managing editor.
The school received a second Silver Addy in the Elements of Advertising: Logo category for a logo created by Brenner for the schoolí¢â‚¬â„¢s Conservation Ecology field of study.
The awards recognize work produced during the 2011 calendar year; judges outside Ann Arbor evaluated the submissions.
