Initiatives in Action (or on the Horizon):

Foster student-alumni connections through new fund established by last year’s class gift, SNRE Gateway group, and the soon-to-be-launched Alumni Mentor Program.

Enhance opportunities for depth of study, not just breadth of study at SNRE. This academic initiative will include benchmarking of peer institutions, peer graduate schools at Michigan, and targeted conversations and surveys with SNRE students, track leaders, and faculty.

Because Pumpkin Carving is a favorite SNREdy past time, our LA StudGovers are coordinating Southeast Michigan’s premier pumpkin carving event. Stay tuned on details!

SNRE’s FIRST Student Blog is off the ground and running (hence this sweet blog post!). If you are interested in contributing, please email snrestudgov@gmail.com!

In addition we’re already taking on great feedback from our first Town Hall and looking – as always – to incorporate your ideas to enhance the SNRE experience.

As always, if you have any questions, concerns, high-fives or deltas (changes), let us know by emailing snrestudgov@gmail.com! And add “SNRE StudGov” as your new BFF on facebook!

SNREd on.
