Hudson River Research Grant- Preproposal
The purpose of the Hudson River Foundation is to make science integral to decision-making with regard to the Hudson River and its watershed and to support competent stewardship of this extraordinary resource. The programs of the Hudson River Fund pursue this mission by providing leadership and support for an integrated program of research, monitoring, modeling, synthesis, and education to the management of the resources of the Hudson River.
A preproposal consisting of a cover page, project description of no more than three single-spaced pages, and an estimated budget must be submitted in one file in PDF format to: preproposals11@hudsonriver.org.
The PDF File must be named: PIs Last Name_first Initial.pdf (ex: Smith_J.pdf)
The e-mail subject line should read: PIs Last Name - Preproposal Submittal (ex: Smith - Preproposal Submittal)
Applicants will receive notification of receipt via e-mail. If you have not received confirmation within two business days please contact us at 212-483-7667.
One hard copy of the preproposal, must also be sent to the Foundation at:

The preproposals will be reviewed by the Foundation, and the applicant investigators will be notified in November, as to whether a full proposal should be submitted.
