Jeffery P. LaFage Graduate Student Research Award
- The applicant must be a candidate for a Master's or doctoral degree at an accredited university.
- The grant is open to students throughout the world.
This Entomological Foundation grant was established by an endowment from donations by Rousell Bio, Dow AgroSciences, FMC, and the friends and family of Dr. Jeffery P. LaFage. It is awarded to a graduate student who proposes innovative research that advances or contributes significantly to the knowledge of the biology or control of pests in the urban environment, especially termites or other wood-destroying organisms. The amount of this award is based on the amount of earnings from the endowment. It is presented at the ESA Annual Meeting.
Priority will be given to proposals demonstrating a creative and realistic approach to the fields of interest.

The recipient is encouraged to present the research results at an ESA meeting and is required to acknowledge the grant award in any publications resulting from these funds. This grant may be renewed.
