The Koch Summer Fellow Program is a paid, 10 week internship program that offers placements for students and recent graduates interested in federal or state public policy. All internships include participation in the Washington, DC opening and closing workshops, a $1,500 stipend, travel reimbursement, and housing (or a housing allowance). The application deadline is January 31. If you want to stay close to home or work on state level policy we offer placements at over 40 state based policy organizations. If you want to spend the summer working at a DC policy organization apply at www.TheIHS.org/publicpolicy.
To apply to the program, please submit the following:
- An online application
- An electronic or paper copy of your college transcript with your name clearly printed on the transcript
Application essays include:
1. Write a statement of no more than 250 words on your career goals, immediate and long term, and how the Koch Summer Fellow Program would help you reach them.
