a) *NEW* eRecruiter Video Tutorial
Please be sure to check out our eRecruiter video tutorial to help you get started or learn more about eRecruiter. You can watch the whole tutorial OR just click on section titles to watch individual sections.
b) *Updated* SNRE's Career Timeline
Want to stay on track with your job and internship search?í‚ Check out the SNRE Career Timeline for suggestions on steps you can take each month/ semester to find a great job or internship.í‚

c) *Newly Created and Updated* Field of Study Specific Websites
Each SNRE field of study now has their own career specific website.í‚ Find out job titles of SNRE alumni in your field of study, employers who have hired SNRE grads for internships and jobs, find a list of professional organizations that you may wish to join, and much, much more.

See attached for a printable calendar of events (link to the attachment is at the bottom of this email).í‚ Events include: a resume and cover letter workshop, PhD career panel, International Environmental Careers Climate Change Panel, an Internship Workshop (which will be offered earlier this year to give students a head start on their internship funding applications), SNRE Career Fairs and much more!
e) eRecruiter Professional Network
Did you know that there is a Professional Networking feature available on eRecruiter?í‚ This summer we worked to add over 40 professional networking contacts to the system.í‚ Please reach out to these Professional Networking Contacts (many are SNRE alumni).í‚ Networking is key when trying to secure an internship or job!í‚ SNRE students with prior experience are also encouraged to become Professional Networking Contacts on eRecruiter.í‚ It's a great way to help your peers learn more about the environmental field!
f) We've made many updates to the main SNRE Career Services Website.í‚ Check out new career resources and articles of interest.í‚ One main update is our SNRE Career Services Guide (http://spreadsheets.google.com/pub?key=tCwT6FozRnqXFWfr5VZgX0Q&output=html). This spreadsheet can be used as a quick reference guide to SNRE career service topic areas and directs students to the resources that SNRE has available.
g) Remember our Career Services Drop-In Hours.í‚ We will hold drop-in hours (right in front of the career services bulletin board in the commons.í‚ Dates and Times:í‚
September 14th - October 12th:
Every Monday from 10:30-11:30am (between the core courses)
October 27th - December 8th:
Every Tuesday from Noon-1pm
Stop by to have a resume or cover letter review, talk about internships and internship funding, chat about your career goals, and much more.
