Funding Abstract:

MSGC offers three awards:

the MSGC Pre-College Education Program: This award program is designed to promote projects that encourage and enrich the study of mathematics, science, or technology for K-12 students.

the MSGC Public Outreach Program: This award program is designed to support conferences, workshops, publications, lecture series, non-technical courses, science fairs, radio and television programs, and other enrichment events that serve industry, state and local governments, non-profit organizations, children, and adults with a focus on enhancing literacy and interest in mathematics, science, and technology.

the MSGC Teacher Training Program: This award program is designed to promote innovative higher education of pre-service and in-service teacher training in mathematics, science, and/or technology in aerospace, space or Earth system science. Eligible activities include the development of courses and supplementary materials, entry level gateway courses, conferences and workshops for in-service and pre-service teacher education.

Applicant Eligibility Comments:

The Teacher Training Program is open only to faculty and administrators at MSGC affiliate and lead institutions.

Application Process and Required Materials:

Application for all three programs is standardized. Application package must include: completed online application form; an abstract (less than 150 words); a description of the project and its relevance (less than 4 pages); descriptions of qualifications (one paragraph); budget and budget justification; progress report for continuing projects.
