One of the premier university art museums in the country, the University of Michigan Museum of Art (UMMA) is a meeting place for the arts, bridging campus and community, visual art and contemporary culture, scholarship and accessibility.

Graduate students, spouses/partners and families are invited to a special afternoon event that includes tours of the Museum, activities for children, light refreshments, and an opportunity to mingle with other graduate students.

Overview

Nearly 200 Rackham students will gather on Thursday, February 16, to participate in the Centennial Symposium: Michigan Graduate Students in the World. Poster and laptop presentations will fill the 2nd and 4th floors of the Rackham Building from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. The Symposium highlights the global impact that graduate students make through their research, and displays the quality, breadth, and diversity of graduate education at Michigan.
