This course is for "hands-on" chemical modeling of the clean or polluted troposphere.  It introduces gas phase and aqueous phase atmospheric reaction chemistry. It also provides hands-on experience with building, testing, and

exercising large chemical reaction models. It is of particular value to students interested in atmospheric composition, biogeochemical cycles, planetary atmospheres, combustion, and chemical engineering issues.

Early this year, six SNRE Masterí¢â‚¬â„¢s students formed a team to conduce a Masterí¢â‚¬â„¢s Project entitled Creative Solutions for Addressing Wastewater in India.  The client is Piramal Water Private Limited, a social enterprise start-up that develops drinking water solutions for rural and urban populations in India where water quality causes more than 60% of common health ailments.  They are in country now doing research - read their blog!
