SustainUS is offering emerging young leaders an opportunity to develop their leadership skills and get their ideas off the ground to enable a more economically, environmentally, and socially just future. The Lead Now Fellowship is a new youth-led fellowship program to support people age 13-26. Fellows will be awarded $1,000 and provided with trainings, mentorship, and opportunities to help them make their project ideas take off. Projects might range from innovative community initiatives to statewide campaigns to projects with an international reach.

The King-Chavez-Parks Future Faculty Fellowship Program is funded by the State of Michigan and is intended to increase the pool of traditionally underrepresented candidates pursuing faculty teaching careers in postsecondary education. Preference may not be given to applicants on the basis of race, color, ethnicity, gender, or national origin.

Applications are now being accepted for the 2013 Environmental Resources Management (ERM) Foundation Sustainability Fellowship.

This Sustainability Fellowship annually supports graduate students interested in designing and implementing their vision for a more sustainable world. The recipient of the fellowship receives a monetary stipend of up to $15,000 to complete this independent study. The other finalists are also offered the opportunity to interview for internships within our organization. Applications for the fellowship are being accepted through 11/30/2012.

PURPOSE: The Truman D. Picard Scholarship Program is dedicated to the support of Native American students pursuing a higher education in Natural Resources.

DEADLINE: 18 January 2013, 5:00 PM EST

AWARD: $2,000 (number of awards varies each year)

The application consists of: Letter of application (2 pages maximum), resume, three reference letters, evidence of validated enrollment in a federally recognized tribe or Alaska Native Corporation, transcripts.
