Gorman Heritage Farm
For this internship Ann worked at a farm camp and led groups of children in farm and nature-based education activities. She was also given three weeks off to do some organic gardening and shadow the education director. She participated in animal chores, bailed hay, harvested veggies, killed and eviscerated a chicken, and learned how to work with natural building materials while helping with the construction of a cob oven.
