Computing Facilities
SNRE provides the following computing facilities for SNRE faculty, staff, and students:
Campus Computing Site
- SNRE's campus computing site, located on the 2nd floor of the Dana Building, includes 25 Windows PCs and 6 e-mail/web cyberstations. The computing site is supported by the ITCS Campus Computing Sites group, and provided by a partnership between ITCS and SNRE. Problems with computers in the lab should be reported to SITES at 647-4837.
Computer Classroom
- SNRE's computing classroom in 3325 includes 22 PCs and an instructor's workstation linked to an LCD projector. The computers in this room are supported by ITCS Campus Computing Sites, while the audio-visual equipment is supported by SNRE IT. The classroom can be reserved through the CRISS website.
Multimedia Classrooms
- A number of SNRE classrooms are equipped with LCD projectors and other audio-visual equipment, supplied and supported by SNRE IT Services. For a full list of classrooms and equipment, see the Classroom IT page.
Faculty & Staff Computers and Printers
- SNRE IT Services provides desktop computers for regular faculty and staff and graduate student instructors. Computers for research staff and fellows are generally funded and provided by the faculty's research project/grant. We also provide shared color and black and white printers throughout the Dana building.
Poster Printer/Plotter
- SNRE IT Services operates a 36" wide inkjet plotter for printing posters, GIS maps, and AutoCad designs. The poster printer is available to SNRE faculty, staff, students, and affiliates.
