Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)/ and National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA)
Pamela Barclay worked in the EPAí¢â‚¬â„¢s Clean Energy and Climate Change Office developing a best practices guide for medium-and heavy-duty truck fleets to incorporate alternative vehicles and technologies into their vehicle pool to reduce diesel emissions. The guide is hosted on the EPA Region 9 webpage and was launched at a transportation industry conference in October, 2011. She also led a group that researched ways to integrate sustainable technologies and processes into emergency operations. The pilot studies proposed as a part of the research were ranked and meetings begun to develop programs around community resiliency and disaster preparedness.
