Environmental Defense Fund Climate Corps (Facebook)
Cynthia Shih worked on a three-person team to identify energy efficiency opportunities in Facebook's office facilities, including lighting retrofits, IT configuration, and new building construction. The team built relationships between Facebook's Facilities department and other groups within the company to make these projects feasible, as well as bringing in expertise from local utility specialists and environmental groups. As a final product, the team conducted financial analysis to identify the most cost-effective projects and presented an implementation plan to key decision makers within the company.
