There are two application deadlines each year: 15 November and 15 April

Students participating in an SNRE master’s project or practicum group may apply to SNRE for funding to support their research. Please schedule a meeting for Diana Woodworth [dianaw@umich.edu] to meet with your group members and faculty project advisor(s) regarding your budget preparation.

PLEASE NOTE: Thesis students should use the SNRE Master’s Thesis Funding Form to request funding for their research activities. Additional funding is also available for thesis students via the Rackham Graduate Research Grant. Master’s project and practicum students ARE NOT ELIGIBLE to apply to Rackham for the Rackham Graduate Research Grant.
