You are eligible to apply if you are pursuing a graduate degree (either masters or doctoral)  at an institution of higher education located in Canada, Guam, Puerto Rico, Mexico or the United States. Applicants should anticipate completion of their degree requirements no sooner than December 1, 2010.

Open to applicants of any nationality or citizenship.

Funding Abstract: 

Throughout his distinguished career, Dr. Thomas R. Camp (1895–1971) advanced state-of-the-art engineering and technology in the drinking water field. During his career he displayed a relentless passion for learning and research. The water treatment processes that Dr. Camp developed for mixing, flocculation and sedimentation set standards for the industry. Sponsored by Camp Dresser and McKee, Inc., the Thomas R. Camp Scholarship provides support to outstanding graduate students doing applied research in the drinking water field.

Application Process and Required Materials: 

Applicants must submit:

  • An official application form
  • A resume (that includes educational history)
  • Official transcripts of all post-secondary education
  • Official copies of the GRE Scores (quantitative, verbal, and analytical) sent directly from the GRE Office. Applications without the GRE scores will not be considered.
  • Three letters of recommendation (one of which must be from the academic or research advisor).
  • A proposed curriculum of study
  • A statement of educational plans and career objectives demonstrating or declaring an interest in an appropriate field of endeavor.
  • A 2-3 page proposed plan of research.
