Multiple fellowships
Applicants must be female.
1. hold at least a bachelors degree or equivalent from a recognized university;
2. have been accepted into, or be currently enrolled in, her proposed program and place of study.
3. be a Canadian citizen or have held landed immigrant status or permanent residence in Canada for at least one year.
CFUW DR. MARGARET McWILLIAMS PRE-DOCTORAL FELLOWSHIP: $12,000
The candidate must have completed at least one full calendar year as a full-time student in doctoral level studies, and be a full-time student, at the time of application. She may be studying abroad.
DR. MARION ELDER GRANT FELLOWSHIP: funded by CFUW/Wolfville
$10,000
At the time of application, the candidate must be enrolled in a full-time course of studies at any level of a masters or doctoral program, except the first year of a first* masters program. One of her letters of reference must be provided by her graduate supervisor. All else being equal, preference will be given to the holder of an Acadia University degree.
*i.e., a candidate embarking on her second masters degree would be eligible in her first year of study.
CFUW MEMORIAL FELLOWSHIP:
$9,000
The candidate must be enrolled in a masters degree program in science, mathematics, or engineering. She may be studying abroad.
Eligible applications for the CFUW Fellowships and Awards require:
- Acceptance or current enrollment in her proposed program and place of study
- Completed filing fee payment form
- Two (2) sections of required information: Section I – Statement of Intent and Section II – Questions 1-5
- Confirmation of enrolment in a graduate program; and
- Three (3) letters of reference.
