Funding Abstract:
As a means of increasing the number of U.S. citizens and nationals trained in science and engineering disciplines of military importance, the Department of Defense (DoD) plans to award approximately 200 new three-year graduate fellowships in April 2011, subject to the availability of funds. The DoD will offer these fellowships to individuals who have demonstrated ability and special aptitude for advanced training in science and engineering.

General GRE score from the last 5 years – you’ll need to contact ETS to have it sent to code 5140 (see below)
Official, sealed transcripts from any graduate work as well as your undergraduate school – these can be sent from the school directly to ASEE, or you can send them if they are in your possession
Contact information for at least three references – they will be asked to fill out an online form and submit an electronic letter of reference
Information on all your publications, presentations, patents, and patent applications
Contact info for supervisors of Research, Leadership, and Teamwork Experiences, and any Community and Volunteer Work Funding Restrictions:
Fellows must be able to accept both the tuition benefit and the full stipend amount in order to be supported by NDSEG, and NDSEG must pay the full cost of tuition.
If the fellow is not enrolled in an institutionally approved academic study and/or research activity during the summer months, financial support will not be provided. There are no dependency allowances. Persons with disabilities may be considered for additional allowances to offset special educational expenses.
