Air and Waste Management Scholarship
Full-time student at a university in the State of Michigan pursuing a course of study leading to a career in air pollution control, hazardous waste management, or other environmental area.
Minimum GPA of "B" (5.000 at UM).
The West Michigan Chapter of the Air & Waste Management Association is pleased to announce the availability of up to three $1,500 scholarships to be awarded to students pursuing a career in environmental protection. Specifically, the purpose of the scholarship is to provide financial support to students studying for a career in air pollution control, hazardous waste management or other environmental area.
The applicant must submit the following, the entire package being submitted either electronically, or via hard copy:
1. A paper of between 500 and 600 words reflecting interests and objectives.
2. Identify activities involved in that support A&WMA goals.
3. The name of a professor, academic advisor or department chair who has agreed to provide a recommendation for the applicant.
4. Resume
5. A copy of transcripts
6.Cover letter should include a brief summary of your application submittal.

Each applicant will receive a one-year student AWMA membership.
