Mining in Michigan: A case study of a proposed sulfide mine in Marquette County, Michigan

Join the controversy while you learn about a new potential mine site in Michigan’s upper peninsula through watching a documentary produced by the National Wildlife Federation and interacting with a discussion panel.  The documentary is entitled “Mining Madness, Water Wars: The Great Lakes in the Balance” and explores the controversial proposal by Kennecott Eagle Minerals Company to develop a new sulfide mine in Marquette County, Michigan.
