Description

This course in intended for students who are likely to engage in reseach of any kind, formal or informal, that is concerned with people and the environment. Major emphasis on is placed on conceptualization - on going from a topic of interest to measurable constructs. A focus on anticipating possible outcomes and possible alternative interpretations leads to consideration of various research designs and strategies. A concern for ethical and humane reseacrh is examined in terms of the researcer's role both with respect to participants and the ultimate recipients of the information.
