SNRE Student Gov facilitates communication and serve as student advocates among the SNRE student body, deans, and faculty through periodic meetings with the deans, student open forms, and the Compostable Times newsletter. Representatives also work with SNRE administration to develop, discuss and implement ideas related to community building and academic development. In addition, Student Government runs fundraisers and organizes social events such as happy hours and the Spring Picnic, and collaborates with staff on SNRE events such as orientation and Winter Solstice.
