Networking is a critical skill that can significantly increase your chances of securing a job or internship.  Hear from 3 SNRE alums who have successfully used networking to secure internships/ jobs to hear real-life examples of how to effectively network and leverage your connections to help you succeed in the job/ internship search.  Students will have the opportunity to ask panelists questions and also to chat one-on-one with panelists.  Location Room 1024 Dana.

• Shoshannah Lenski, Senior Associate, DTE Energy, Strategy and Corporate Development group Shoshannah Lenski graduated from SNRE's sustainable systems track in 2011. She now works as a senior associate in DTE Energy's Strategy and Corporate Development group, a job secured through networking with SNRE alumni. Prior to SNRE, Shoshannah worked in management consulting with The Boston Consulting Group (BCG). Shoshannah lives in Ann Arbor with her husband and 2 year old daughter.

• Mary Sell, Commuter Services Specialist, Ann Arbor Transportaion Authority, getDowntown Program Mary Sell is a Commuter Services Specialist for the Ann Arbor Transportation Authority's getDowntown Program. She completed her MS at the U-M School of Natural Resources and Environment and received her BA degree from Michigan State University in International Relations. Mary works to support alternative transportation options for downtown employees through the promotion of biking, walking and busing modes. Mary is incredibly passionate about creating a sustainable built environment and enjoys connecting with her community and neighbors daily in her position.

• Amanda Szot, Landscape Architect/Graphic Designer and Lecturer (formerly with Design Workshop Amanda Szot is an MLA alum from SNRE.  She is a Landscape Architect formerly with Design Workshop in Salt Lake City, Utah.  She is a lecturer at SNRE teaching intro graphic design skills to MLA students.
