The William Davidson Institute (WDI) sponsored 21 Summer Fellows as part of its Global Impact Internship Program this past summer.  The 21 Fellows worked in 14 countries over 3 continents: Bhutan, China, Cambodia, Ecuador, Ghana, India, Indonesia, Jordan, Mozambique, Peru, Rwanda, Tanzania, and Uganda.  

The students represent 8 schools and colleges at the University of Michigan: the Ross School of Business, the Ford School of Public Policy, the School of Natural Resources and the Environment (SNRE), the School of Public Health, the UM Medical School, Law School, the School of Information, and Taubman College of Urban Planning.

They worked with global NGOs, private sector companies, social enterprises, and start-ups developing business and marketing strategies, impact assessments, improving hospital operations and vaccine and medical care supply-chain challenges in emerging markets.
