Upcoming Social Events: Tigers Baseball Game and Day Trip to Chicago

  1. Tigers vs. Indians baseball game, August 20:  Ticket pre-sales taking place on July 13 and 14 (see full announcement below).

Tigers vs. Indians game, August 20

 Join Rackham and your Rackham Student Government for a trip to see the Detroit Tigers play the Cleveland Indians on Saturday, August 20 at Comerica Park!  There will be a fireworks display at the park following the game.

 The cost is just $18 per person for a ticket in the Upper Reserved (Section 343). An additional $5 will be charged for a seat on a round trip bus ride to Comerica Park - $23 total.

 We have reserved 200 tickets for the game.  Ticket pre-sales will take place at the following dates, times, and locations.  We will distribute tickets in mid-July to those who are not taking the bus to the game:

 Rackham Graduate Student Affairs (Suite 1530), 915 E. Washington St.

PAYMENT MUST BE MADE BY CHECK OR MONEY ORDER ONLY.  Cash will not be accepted.  Checks should be made payable to í¢â‚¬Å“University of Michigan"

IMPORTANT NOTES TO READ BEFORE PURCHASING A TICKET:

*The buses will begin boarding at 5:15pm and will leave at 5:30pm from Rackham Graduate School (915 E. Washington). The game starts at 7:00pm.

*Food and beverages are available for purchase at Comerica Park and the prices range from $5-$10 per item.

*Alcohol is not permitted on the bus and Rackham/RSG representatives hold the right to deny return bus boarding to any student who is outwardly intoxicated, obnoxious and/or profane after the game.

*All ticket sales and bus rides are FINAL.  If you purchase a ticket and/or a bus ride and discover that you cannot attend, it is your responsibility to sell your ticket and spot on the bus).  You will then need to contact nplosky@umich.edu to have your name removed from the roster and to have the new person's name added.

*If you miss the bus, you will be responsible for your own transportation, and will not receive a refund.
