Gallup Park is a 69-acre park and recreation area located along the Huron River and Geddes Pond. The park contains two playgrounds, a canoe livery, picnic areas, open field for play, and over three miles of asphalt trails that are popular for biking, rollerblading, walking and running. See this map of the location. There will be ice cream treats and beverages from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm by the picnic shelters. Rackham and RSG will be subsidizing the first 75 rentals for canoes, 2-person kayaks, rowboats, and paddleboats at the Gallup Livery on a first-come, first-served basis at a rate of $10/boat (regularly $18/boat) for a maximum of two hours for canoes, 2-person kayaks and rowboats between 1:00-4:00 PM, or $1 for 30 minutes of paddleboating. Fees can be paid with either cash or a credit card (Visa/Mastercard), and please bring an ID or car keys with you as collateral during your rental time. We will also have lawn games and other activities available, but feel free to bring your own athletic equipment, as there is plenty of field space for your enjoyment!

There are four parking areas: one at the main entrance off Fuller Road, two within the park along the park drive, and one further southeast on Geddes Road. Please note that parking is extremely limited, so please plan to carpool with others if you are able.
