Diplomat in Residence Jim Ellickson-Brown invites members of the University of Michigan community with a knowledge of Spanish to an information session regarding opportunities to use their language skills working as a Foreign Service Consular Adjudicator at a U.S. Embassy or Consulate.  Sponsored by the Gerald R. Ford School of Public Policy.

Foreign Service Consular Adjudicators serve on the front lines at a U.S. Embassy or Consulate, conducting one-on-one interviews and reviewing supporting documentation to determine if a foreign national meets the requirements for entry into the United States.

These openings are for a limited time í¢â‚¬“ 13 months to begin with í¢â‚¬“ with a renewable contract for up to five years, depending on satisfactory performance and the needs of the Foreign Service.
