Global Grads Lunch: Travel Tips & Tales

Friday, March 16, 2012 from 12:00 pm to 1:30pm

*Please Note: this event replaces the previously advertised Global Grads Regional Travel Panels, which were originally scheduled for the same day. Registrations for the Travel Panels will not be transferred to this lunch, so those who want to attend the lunch should register at the link provided below.

Planning to conduct research, academic study or an internship abroad? Want advice on how to collaborate in an increasingly global world? Or have you already been abroad and want to share your experience and insights with others? Join a community of scholars who are interested in building international connections, and actively reflecting on what it means to be a U-M ambassador abroad.

The goals of this event are two-fold:

1) To provide an opportunity for graduate students who are considering research or internships abroad to talk to other graduate students with international experience.

2) To provide an opportunity for internationally-minded graduate students to network with one another and to provide Rackham with feedback about what resources and information would be most useful for students going abroad.

Lunch will be provided.

Pre-registration is required.
